EOS

The European Orthodontic Society was founded on 16 May 1907 by 10 Charter members. Regular  congresses of the Society are held annually in different European countries.

The Society is affiliated to the World Federation of Orthodontists and has close co-operation with the European Federation of Orthodontic Specialists Association.

The aims of EOS are:

  • To advance all aspects of orthodontics and its relations with the collateral arts and sciences for the public benefit.
  • To seek the furtherance of orthodontics amongst all branches of the dental profession working in private practice, hospitals and universities throughout Europe.
  • To host an annual congress once a year, bringing orthodontists together from all over the world.
